Laser Micrometric provide a comprehensive sub contract laser manufacturing service, with the capability of supplying anything from, watch to tractor parts - from fast prototype to volume production. The company’s expertise and technology can facilitate, ideal design for manufacture, product cost reductions, and on occasions…. the only viable method of manufacture.
LASER SERVICES INCLUDE
  • General laser profiling - of flat and tubular, thick and thin section materials, ferrous & non ferrous – from 25 micron thick in small increments up to 1mm - then up to 15mm thick.
  • Fine laser machining - of most sheet, plate and section materials including stainless steel, copper, brass, phosphor bronze, aluminum, ceramic, plastics, rubber, silver, nickel, tungsten, titanium, tantalum, molybdenum - alternative to fine blank, chemical etch & and press.
  • Precision laser machining - of pre machined, pressed or fabricated components – apertures can be any shape.
  • Laser welding - joining of finished parts without distortion – heat sensitive components not affected.
  • Laser marking - of customer product & laser manufactured parts.
  • Laser drilling - holes down to 20 microns – supply flow related parts.
  • Laser hire - on a daily basis for research and development projects.
  • Laser consultancy - laser selection & design for manufacture

The company have 12 laser systems capacity on up to five axis CNC control using Fibre, Nd:YAG and CO2 power sources.

  • Scanning of patterns, templates and existing parts.
  • Wire EDM.
  • Conventional CNC machining.
  • Small press work.

Micrometric approvals include ISO 9001 and AS EN9100.
