LASER PROFILING

Fast Turnaround Prototype To Volume Production Micrometric has a range of high power, fast CO² laser machines providing a high quality laser profiling service, from fast turnaround prototype and jobbing work through to volume production. This can be in a wide range of flat and tubular ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Thicknesses cut being, for example, up to 3mm in brass and copper, 8mm in aluminium, 10mm in stainless steel and 12mm in mild steel. Flat parts can be any size within an envelope of 1500 x 3000mm. Tubular parts can be up to 3000mm long and 155mm dia fed through a four jaw chuck and up to 330mm dia mounted on the outside of the chuck.
	Micrometric can scan existing parts, patterns and templates. From this information, approved parts can be laser cut without the need for drawings.
	Selection of larger profiles. The largest part shown is 925mm dia but could be any size within an envelope of 1500 x 3000mm.
	Selection of medium size profiles. The largest part shown is 380mm dia.
	Selection of smaller profiles. These are shown within a larger part, the inside diameter being 220mm.
	Selection of thicker parts, the thickest being 12mm.
	Selection of ferrous and non-ferrous precision parts.
	Selection of non-ferrous parts.
	Selection of ferrous and non-ferrous tubular parts. The largest dia part shown is 80mm and the longest 1675mm. Parts can be up to 330mm dia and 3000mm long.
